About Us
Meet the Founder
The founder, Kaelin Berthold, knew that she had a deep-rooted passion for working with children from a young age. So, how did her journey begin? It all started one day when her mother approached her at the age of 12 and asked if she would be interested in having foster children in their home. Without hesitation, she said yes –– and that’s what spurred her love for childhood education.
Fast forward to her adult years, and she’s been able to turn that passion into a career. She currently works as a teacher but has also been a nanny to children ages 1-14, a homeschool teacher for 1st and 5th grade, and a tutor. As a native of South Florida, she is also familiar with the curriculum and standards taught in schools here –– and her mission is to take that to the next level.
While enrolled at Florida International University, she studied Early Childhood Education, which equipped her with the skills to help children learn in the most effective way possible. In addition, it reinforced her belief in the importance of hyper-personalized learning.
Our Mission
Throughout my personal and professional experiences, the founder noticed that children naturally learn and participate when they are interested. That’s why our mission at Grow From Learning is to identify each student’s learning style and personalize their learning experience.
Using our professional background and passion for children, we are committed to providing the best possible learning experience to every student we tutor. Through individualized attention, we cater to their unique needs and guide them to succeed in school.
Some of our fundamental values are transparency and open communication, which is why we consistently send weekly, and monthly progress notes to parents to stay on top of their child’s progress. Keen to learn more about our approach? Contact us for a complimentary consultation!
